Approached by a private client, Seifermann Architects designed a full refurbishment of the Old Town Residence. Converted to a high-end private house, the design features luxury materials including marble, hardwoods and onyx.

The new rooftop extension forms a double height dining room, and opens panoramic sea views across the old town roofscape from the terrace and living spaces. Clad in bronze, the rooftop pavilion’s surface reflects sunlight glimmers seen across its Unesco World Heritage Site surroundings. Its sculptural form provides dramatic views, while clearly expressing the contemporary addition to the historic building.
